Karli was introduced to speech-language pathology (SLP) during her second year of undergraduate studies after switching from business administration to early childhood education. Instantly intrigued with the broad scope of practice and access to a varied population she began to pursue a degree in SLP. In 2018 Karli graduated from Loma Linda Univeristy with her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In 2019 Karli recieved her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Karli has experience working with pediatrics in the school-based and private setting as well as acute and subacute adult focused care. Karli finds enjoyment in simply connecting with her patients, identifying goals, and creating an individualized intervention plan. Karli's strengths include open and engaging communication which aids in keeping appropriate family and interdisciplinary team members well informed and involved in the plan of care.
